A new and unique custom bouzouki commission, has just begun!
This time, the demanding design and the completion of the bouzouki construction, falls into the talented hands of a promising young luthier from Cyprus .
His work started to spark my imagination three (3) years ago when I first saw the beautiful unique designs on his musical instruments. Inspired by a conundrum of surrealism, precisionism, and modern pixel digital art , his creations surely bring a fresh breath of air in bouzouki aesthetics! The luthier possess great skills of immaculate finish on his musical instruments, and a beautiful sound timbre from 1950s-1960s era

The decoration of this latest bouzouki is inspired by a hummingbird and a tropical flower.
The design will carry unique shades of color in an attempt to transport the viewer into an exotic realm . Natural White Sea shell and acrylic pearloid will be used for decoration of pickguard , sound hole, fret-markers, decoration of headstock, and decoration of side strips. The instrument will carry a unique shape of sound hole. The bowl will be made by 19 dark & natural color walnut staves, the soundboard by German Spruce (Master Grade) and the fret board by master grade ebony wood.
