In my attempt to escape from the ordinary design featured on a tzoura, I present you a concept design of the soundboard trim, with a different thickness along its lenght.

In musical instruments with a long tear shape bowl (prewar bouzoukia, oriental tzouras) this style of trim can emphasize the form / silhouette of the bowl
The example illustrates different thickness of trim created by mother of pearl on the edges, and rosewood with or without inlays, on the middle piece.
