The Politiko, brought me back memories!
Remembering the days of its design !
It is been almost 4 months from the last time I posted on this blog. I almost had forgotten my username and password, as I was trying to type it into my account.
A lot of things have changed in my life, during these 4 months of absence , most of them for a good cause. But the love I felt for the old Rebetiko era, still stays strong inside my heart.
The talented luthier, Tasos Theodorakis sent me today the next group of photos, illustrating the process of the Politiko trichordo bouzouki.
I have to admit that I was extremely surprised, by the detailed work, the loyal capture of the design, and the quality materials which the luthier used to create this instrument, following in every step my original design.
Simply, a big Bravo to the maker ! The instrument will be completed somewhere in the middle of this summer. Stay tuned for more photos, of this last attempt, to reverse time somewhere back in 1900s.
