A Doric shape capping strip

And the form of the dovetail joint!

The luthier, Kostas Zarkadas, sent me last week a new batch of photographs , showcasing the completion of the tampourobouzouko bowl and the capping strip

The luthier revised the original capping strip design, creating a beautiful Doric shape with sharp edges and acute angles

When the glue of the capping strip on the bowl cured,  the luthier placed perimetrically, white fillets.  

The luthier using the router formed the "dovetail" joint.
