Exceptional mulberry grain

And amber color variation !

The luthier Stelios Tsilimigkas, ( https://steliostsilimigkas.wixsite.com/luthier) sent me today new photos from the pre-war bouzouki process.

The beautiful old Greek mulberry trunk has been cut into 19 pieces (staves), revealing the absolutely stunning grain formation and amber-color variation. 

Next week the luhtier will start forming the bowl by placing and gluing  the staves together on top of his pre-war-style mold, with dimensions 38.5 cm X 24.5 cm

This bouzouki construction will take its time, as the luthier will  give a great attention on every step and detail, in this attempt to turn back time, almost 100 years.
