Decoration as fine as a fine stitching

Micro-cosmos !

The luthier Giannis Kadoglou sent me today few photographs, showcasing the great talent he possesses, in regards to the creation of the detailed miniature decoration for the side capping strips.

Giannis cut by hand, (using a small saw), all the elaborated design even the microscopic coils. 

As mentioned on an earlier post, the design for the back and side capping strips, is being inspired by the sculptures / carvings created by the famous artist Akis Panou

The luthier finalized also the beautiful purfling / binding strip around the soundboard
