Was the year of 1936 when, Regime under Ioannis Metaxas was established and with it, the onset of censorship in rebetiko songs. Going through the small package of music sheets, my father sent me some years ago, I found a music sheet of the tango "Σκοτωσε με"(Kill me) sang by Kosta Maniataki (lyrics and music by Th.Papadopoulos)The year was MCMXXXVI=1936
