The Hybrid Politiko bouzouki
And the time machine!
When I was young, one of my favorite authors, who pioneer with his novels, the science fiction genre, was Jules Verne.
At the age of 14, inspired by Verne's books, I wrote a small amateur novel, regarding time travel, and a lost civilization, under the majestic shadow of an inactive volcano!
Who will knew, that after 30 years, I would surprisingly discover that, the time machine, was never a science fiction theory, but always a reality.
It took Tasos Theodorakis 1 year, to fully reverse the time back to 1880, and the era of hybrid bouzouki ancestors.
Sixty photographs,sixty moments of life's captures, were enough, to illustrate the mystical rite between man and old woods,in an attempt to recreate a tampourobouzouko, infused by the seductive aroma of Poli (Istanbul)
I thought to upload all these moments together in one post,and prove for first time that, time can be reversed,not through a time machine, but by keeping alive the customs and the traditions of a pure era!
Tasos informed me today that next week, the sound of 1880s will be recorded for first time, after more than 130 years!
