The final countdown

And the sound of "The net"!

Giannis sent me today two photos, after varnish has been applied, and been cured for almost two weeks on the instrument.
The final stage of its construction will include the installation of the frets, the creation of bridge, bone, tale piece and the final adjustments & tuning by the luthier.

Due to summer vacations, I will wait a couple of weeks before I am able to hear the sound of my bouzouki for first time,.. somewhere around August 15th (Dekapentaugousto) with the great celebration of Panagia(Virgin Mary) !

I kindly asked the luthier when the instrument will be ready, to record a video, playing one of my favorite songs which has a timeless meaning, and fits perfectly to any ones journey in life:
